Booked as I was planning to go to Sake so it was a short stroll. Found out about Blu bar which was a really nice experience. Conflicting messages about making reservations for Blu bar, I asked 3 seperate people in the hotel and all said it can't be done but we saw 4 of them on the night. Great location, nice hotel but tired and in need od refurbishment. Underwhelming but still good value for under 200€. The pool is really small and not worth visiting. Service very good - standard for Shangri - la.

Very near to harbour bridg and Contemporary Museum. If you take subway, Wynyard st. is better than Circular Quay. strongly recommend to travellers to Sydney.
