About Baška Voda

Baska Voda is a breezy coastal town set between the shimmering Adriatic Sea and the Biokovo mountains. It occupies one of the prettiest stretches of the Makarska Riviera and will charm you with its yacht-filled harbour and palm-lined promenade. Bask on Blue Flag beaches, stroll around the historic town centre and dine on a smorgasbord of fresh seafood.

Things to do in Baška Voda

Beaches are the main draw in Baska Voda, with sunseekers flocking to relax on the pebble sand and swim in the crystalline water. Many are within walking distance of the town centre, making it easy to enjoy a day in the sunshine. Regularly voted one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, Nikolina Beach is set around a jewel-toned bay and fringed by gleaming white pebbles. Ikovac Beach is smaller but just as beautiful, with sections shaded by fragrant pine trees.

If you can drag yourself off the beach, it’s worth admiring the shell collection on display at the Malacological Museum. The Archaeological Museum is another unique attraction and showcases centuries-old artefacts found in the local area.

The Makarska Riviera is one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Croatia and is teeming with marine life. Scuba courses take you below the surface and immerse you in the underwater wonderland.
