Set on the Mississippi River, Centennial Park is Davenport's signature green space. It's a great place to stroll or enjoy a scenic bike ride along the Riverfront Parkway. It borders Veterans Memorial Park, which is anchored by a commemorative monument and a trio of flagpoles.

The Bucktown Centre for the Arts is a great introduction to Davenport's local talent. It's located in a historic building and is filled with unique studios selling art, photography, jewellery and clothing. It also offers you the chance to meet the creators.

Getting around Davenport

Downtown Davenport is easy to get around on foot, especially at the riverfront district. The city is serviced by local buses and taxis. O'Hare International Airport is a three-hour drive from Davenport.
