About Forks

Forks is a moody city set on the Olympic Peninsula and surrounded by lush rainforest. It’s famous as one of the rainiest cities in the United States and boasts a dramatic setting between the Pacific Ocean and the rugged Olympic Mountains. Things to do in Forks

Get lost in a sea of green in Olympic National Park. The enormous park protects one of the most beautiful rainforests in the United States. Trails wind through the park and take you past towering Hemlocks, moss-covered Cedars and 1,000-year-old Douglas firs. Deeper into the park, you’ll find cobalt-blue glacial lakes and wildflower-strewn meadows. Visit at dawn or dusk for your best chance to spot magnificent Roosevelt elk.
