Visit in winter and enjoy the family-friendly Lavarone Ski Resort. It’s set on the slopes of Alpe Cimbra and features more than 30 kilometres of groomed slopes framed by alpine forests. The highest runs start at 1,600 metres above sea level. Slow down the pace on cross-country ski trails or get your pulse racing on fat bike tracks.

Dine at rustic trattorias and enjoy specialties from the Trentino region. Enjoy wafer-thin “carne salada” beef, “speck” smoked pork and “schuttelbrot” flatbread flavoured with mountain herbs. Grilled “meraner wurst” hot dogs sold at streetside kiosks make excellent snacks.
