At the Hard Times Mine, you’ll get a hands-on mining experience in a working replica mine. Don a headlamp and mining gear for the 2.5-hour underground tour through 1.2 kilometres of tunnels filled with functioning machinery. Genuine miners operate the mine and often lead the visitor tours.

Save some time for engaging in the Isa Experience, an art gallery and museum devoted to natural, industrial and Indigenous heritage. The adjoining Outback Park features native plant species and a cascading waterfall inspired by Lawn Hill Gorge.
