About Niechorze

Niechorze is a lively Baltic Sea village fringed by a four-kilometre-long stretch of sand. It’s set on the Trzebiatowski Coast and framed by rolling dunes, pine forests and cliffs. Locals flock to sunbathe on the sand, swim in the aquamarine water and fish from the wooden jetty.

Niechorze Lighthouse towers over the village and has been guiding ships to safety since 1866. Stroll around the landscaped gardens and climb the staircase to the observation deck for sweeping views over the Baltic Sea. On clear days, the views stretch inland to Lake Liwia.

Ride the historic Gryficka Kolej Wąskotorowa narrow-gauge railway to nearby towns like Gryfice, Trzęsacz and Rewal. The small museum in Gryfice features exhibits on the unique heritage of the railway line. Find out more about the village’s seafaring past at the small fishing museum.

A narrow canal flows between Lake Liwia and the Baltic Sea. The lake is a sanctuary for wildlife, including several bird species. A cycle path loops around the lake and takes you past scenic lookouts and jetties.
