A multipurpose venue in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, Target Center plays host to dozens of music concerts, sports events and Broadway-style shows every year. It’s also home to the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx WNBA team.
The arena hosts private and community events, with a 20,000-max seating capacity for concerts. Big-name musical performances have included renowned stars, such as Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Prince and Garth Brooks.
Check the schedule for theatrical performances and family-friendly shows. The arena converts into U.S. Bank Theater with seating for as few as 2,500 or up to 7,500 people. After a game or concert, you can walk across the street for cocktails at the First Avenue nightclub.
Target Center sits on North First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, across from Target Field. There’s ample on-site parking, while buses and light rail stations are within one block of the venue. There’s also a dedicated area for rideshare services at the corner of 1st Street and 6th Street.
