Discover the cape’s swashbuckling past at the Whydah Pirate Museum. The family-friendly museum is named after one of the most famous shipwrecks on the Cape Cod coast and charts the legacy of Captain “Black Sam” Bellamy and his crew. Next door is Wicked Waves Water Park, where you can swim in crystalline pools, float along the lazy river and sip drinks at the swim-up bar.

Putt your way past statues of lions, elephants, gorillas and giraffes at Wild Animal Lagoon. The fun-filled, 18-hole mini golf course is set in beautifully manicured gardens and promises surprises around every corner. Pause to snap selfies with the animals as you make your way through the course.

Hunt for shells, sea glass and other treasures on Seagull Beach. The beach is a hive of activity in the summer when locals flock to bask on the soft sand and swim in Nantucket Sound. Buy hot dogs, ice cream and cold drinks from the beachside concession stand.
