About Woodland Hills

Woodland Hills is a leafy neighbourhood set between the Santa Monica Mountains and Downtown Los Angeles. The neighbourhood is a celebrity enclave, with a mix of film stars, musicians and pro basketball players living along the tree-lined streets. Hike in state parks, visit a historic ranch and shop at one of the largest malls in California.

Things to do in Woodland Hills

Stretch your legs and work up a sweat in Topanga State Park, where more than 50 kilometres of trails take you through the cliffs, canyons and oak forests of the Santa Monica Mountains. Hike up to the Top of Topanga Overlook for spectacular views over Downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

Shop at designer boutiques and rub shoulders with celebrities at Westfield Topanga & The Village. The mall is one of the largest in California and boasts more than 200,000 square metres of retail space. Take a spin on the merry-go-round and enjoy lunch at one of the upscale bistros.

Orcutt Ranch was built by a Californian oil magnate and set in beautiful public gardens shaded by centuries-old oak trees. The main residence is a Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument and combines elements of Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial architecture.
