Things to do in Pingzhen District
Take a walk around Pingzhen City and let yourself get lost among the local market stores and restaurants while admiring the architecturally-stunning administrative buildings. The district is a gateway to a variety of must-do Taiwan attractions including the Lao-Jie River Education Center, where you can learn about the city’s waterways in a tranquil setting.
If you love art, visit the Zhongli Arts Hall to watch the talented Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra and admire creative exhibits by local artists. If you’ve got the kids in tow, take a day trip down to Leofoo Village Theme Park, which doubles as a safari. Here you’ll find thrilling roller coasters and fun kid-friendly rides, coupled with exotic animals such as African lions, Bengal tigers and American black bears.

You can also travel about 10 kilometres to Longtan Lake, which has a well-known Buddhist temple sitting in its centre.
