There are 330 departments, but if you’re short on time, meander through the Superbrands Hall, located on level one, where you’ll find the most exclusive designer fashion. With giant stuffed animals, jumbo LEGO kits and plenty of Paddington Bears, the Toy Department is heaven for kids.
Don’t miss the famous golden elevator in the elaborate Egyptian Hall, which is filled with golden sculptures. There are plenty of places for shoppers to refuel, including 25 mouthwatering counters in the immense Food Hall, which features an oyster and caviar bar. For something particularly British, indulge in a traditional afternoon tea at Harrods Georgian Restaurant.
Getting there
Harrods is a few minutes’ walks from Knightsbridge tube station on the Piccadilly Line and South Kensington tube station on the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines. Various bus routes service the department store, while valet parking is located on Brompton Place.
