About Olympic Park

Commonly referred to as “Olpark”, Seoul Olympic Park was created to host the 1988 Summer Olympics. In addition to cutting-edge sports arenas and performance venues, the 140-hectare park harbours remains from the 5th-century Baekje Era. You can ride the Hodori Train to visit various park zones, starting from Peace Square.

Check the schedule for concerts and cultural performances at Cultural Art Park, which also hosts the Olympic Museum and Seoul Olympics Museum of Art. Within the History Experience Park, you can learn more about Korean heritage by visiting Mongchontoseong Fortress and Baekje Museum. It’s also where to find the Holy Land of Peace exhibit honouring the spirit of the Olympics.

Spend some time at Leisure Sports Park, which features an inline skating section, acupressure path and jogging paths. Environmental Eco-Park is a lush natural area home to spot-billed ducks, woodpeckers, Korean squirrels, herons and racoons.

Getting there

Olympic Park spreads across Songpa-gu and Bangi-dong, accessible by subway from the Mongchontoseong and Olympic Park stations. Parking is available at dedicated lots and you can rent a bike or take the Hodori train to get around the park.
